I would only make one change: If your first date is a blind date (of any variety) no drinking at all. It completely changes the dynamic.
I strongly agree about
* not texting or IMing,
* returning calls in a timely manner and
* honoring your commitments.

=v= I figured I should read the advice since I recently saw How to Marry a Millionaire and wanted to see what they did right or wrong.
As my own fortune is just shy of a million, it should come as no surprise that I've done most of these "wrong" (though not the three you list). I do take strong exception to the DNA comment, which is 100% hogwash.
I dunno if it's DNA, but I have found that pursuing guys I like gets me no where. But maybe I do it wrong.
