Mom said...: Here's more info (Wed, 19 Apr 2006):
The film team is returning to Ghana imminently to
interview people and their bikes, ten months after
they got them at a VBP workshop. Director Tricia Todd
hopes to make a feature length film on the project. I
hope so too!

Thanks to all who�ve written and all who contributed
to the project since I emailed recently. $1,000 has
come in. Much appreciated!

In other news, last weekend we loaded a container in
Seattle in a record six hours, 460 bikes, our 30th
shipment. Working Bikes Co-operative in Chicago loads
this weekend, and Bikes for the World loads in May.
We�ll get at least 12 workshops out of these
shipments.

In Ghana, our first Women�s Workshop is on for next
week. 20 high school girls will be taught bike repair
by four VBP trained young women, organized by
volunteer Jaye Marolla.
